**Prayer of Repentance and Renunciation:**

"Almighty God, Creator of all things, we humbly come before You. We acknowledge our past involvement in corrupt practices and ritualistic blood sacrifices. Forgive us, Lord, for any actions that have grieved Your heart. We repent and turn away from darkness, seeking Your mercy and grace.

We renounce every tie to evil practices, every covenant made with darkness, and every alliance with forces opposed to Your kingdom. Wash us clean, O God, by the precious Blood of Jesus Christ. May His sacrifice cover our sins and set us free.

In the name of Jesus, we break every chain that bound us to darkness. We declare our allegiance to You, our Savior, and our desire to walk in the light. Holy Spirit, empower us to live according to Your will. Let Your truth guide our steps, and may we never again be entangled in practices that dishonor You.

We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen."

Thanksgiving, praise and worship song’s lyrics dedicated to Kinoingan Yah, His Word made a kadazan and His Spirit

The popular version of UNK salvation story - Kinoingan's only virgin daughter was the sacrificial lamb.

The Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan contest was supposed to portray not only the outward beauty of Kinoingan's only virgin daughter, (less popular version is the only son) but the beauty of her soul and completely obedient to Kinoingan's wish to sacrifice her to save His people, the kadazan, from starvation. Her body parts were buried and the various plants, , herbs and grain grew from there. Her blood became an aura of light that protected the kadazan from attacks from demons and evil spirits. Her flesh grew to be padi which became staple food of the kadazan.
There was a severe drought and people were dying from starvation because Logon Gazo and his demons were on the hunt for human flesh and blood to sustain themselves in the material realm. But after Kinoingan sacrificed Huminundun (the sacrificed one), the kadazan were protected and they had an abundant harvest. Husod Suminundu Tobitua, Kinoingan Spirit, was miraculously empowering every kadazan who had eaten of the rice they harvested and touched miraculously by the blood of Huminundun after it became light.
After the abundant harvest, they had a Kaamatan festival. Kinoingan was of course with them celebrating but He missed His daughter very much so He played the "bungkau" (Jewish harp) and Huminundun became alive and came out from the "tadang" (bamboo knapsack basket) to join in the celebration. Her face was shining like the midday sun, thus the name Unduk Ngadau. She was then renamed by Kinoingan as Huminodun - the risen one.

A poem describing the event :
In the land of Sabah, where mountains touch the sky,
There lived a maiden, beneath Kinoingan's eye.
Huminundun, her name, pure as morning dew,
Radiant with beauty, both outward and true.

Her eyes sparkled like stars, reflecting divine light,
A gentle spirit, shining ever bright.
In her, the Kadazan found solace and grace,
A symbol of hope, in a sacred place.

From Heaven's beauty, she draws her allure,
A heart of gold, steadfast and pure.
Proverbs 31, her guide and her creed,
Inner beauty, a treasure indeed.

But more than her looks, it's her sacrifice told,
For her people's sake, she offered her soul.
Psalm 91, her shield and her guard,
Protected by Yah, her strength unmarred.

Her blood, a shield against demons' attack,
Her flesh, the padi, sustaining the pack.
From sacrifice blooms abundance and life,
A harvest of blessings, free from all strife.

In the midst of the festival, Kinoingan's delight,
He played the bungkau, filling the night.
Huminundun emerged, from tadang she came,
Renamed Huminodun, in His holy name.

Unduk Ngadau, a title of pure light,
A beacon of hope, shining ever bright.
May her story inspire, both near and far,
The beauty of sacrifice, like a guiding star.

In Huminodun's legacy, may we find,
The beauty of spirit, in heart and in mind.
For true beauty resides, not just in the face,
But in love, in sacrifice, in divine grace.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful and meaningful story of Huminundun and the origins of the Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan contest. It's a powerful narrative that underscores the importance of sacrifice, obedience, and the interconnectedness between humanity and the divine in Kadazan culture.

The story of Huminundun's sacrifice and subsequent transformation into Huminodun reflects themes of selflessness and the abundance that comes from giving of oneself for the greater good. It also highlights the belief in the spiritual protection and sustenance provided by Kinoingan and the reverence for nature's bounty, symbolized by the growth of plants and the harvest of rice.

The Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan contest, then, serves as a way to honor and commemorate Huminodun's sacrifice and celebrate the blessings of abundance and protection bestowed upon the Kadazan people. It's not just about outward beauty but also about embodying the qualities of Huminundun – purity, obedience, and a spirit of selflessness.

Thank you for sharing this rich cultural narrative, which adds depth and significance to the understanding of the Unduk Ngadau Kaamatan contest and its role in Kadazan society.

Here is a thanksgiving, praise and worship song’s lyrics dedicated to Kinoingan Yah, His Word made a kadazan and His Spirit

(Verse 1)
In the land of Sabah, where mountains touch the sky,
We lift our voices, to the One most high.
Kinoingan, Huminodun, Suminundu divine,
We praise your name, in this sacred shrine.

(Chorus)
Oh Kinoingan, Huminodun, Suminundu,
We lift our hearts in worship to you.
Your love and grace, forever we'll proclaim,
In awe and wonder, we praise your holy name.

(Verse 2)
Kinoingan, Creator, mighty and strong,
You formed the earth, with words of song.
Huminodun, sacrificial lamb, pure and true,
Your love redeemed us, made all things new.

(Chorus)
Oh Kinoingan, Huminodun, Suminundu,
We lift our hearts in worship to you.
Your love and grace, forever we'll proclaim,
In awe and wonder, we praise your holy name.

(Bridge)
Suminundu, Spirit, breathe in us today,
Empower our hearts, to walk in your way.
Guide our steps, in truth and light,
Lead us onward, through day and night.

(Chorus)
Oh Kinoingan, Huminodun, Suminundu,
We lift our hearts in worship to you.
Your love and grace, forever we'll proclaim,
In awe and wonder, we praise your holy name.

(Outro)
Triune God, eternal and true,
We bow before you, in gratitude.
With thanksgiving, our voices raise,
Forever we'll worship, and give you praise.

Note : Another version promoted by KDCA is that Kinoingan has two children, a daughter and son but the son rebelled against him. It seems possible that this version was a lie spread by Satan aka Lucifer to confuse or deceive the kadazan, created in the image and picture of Yah, to steal, kill and destroy them. (John 10:10a)

Kinoingan Minamangun, the Name above all names

## Chapter 1: The Name Above All Names
Kinoingan Minamangun, known as Yah or Bapa Yahweh in Malay, is the supreme deity revered among the Kadazan people. He is adored and worshiped as the name above all names, a name that embodies the fullness of divine authority and love. The Kadazan people believe that Kinoingan Minamangun is the creator of the universe and the source of all life. This profound reverence is deeply rooted in the understanding that He is the ultimate sovereign, whose name is to be hallowed and revered above all others.

In the holy scriptures, we read: "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:9-11). This passage emphasizes the divine elevation and authority granted to Jesus, whom the Kadazan identify as Bohi Tobitua, the beloved Son of Kinoingan Minamangun.

Kinoingan Minamangun's love for humanity is most profoundly demonstrated in the gift of His only begotten Son, Bohi Tobitua. As stated in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." This sacrificial love is the cornerstone of the Kadazan faith, signifying the ultimate act of redemption and grace. Bohi Tobitua, as the Lamb of God, offered Himself as a perfect sacrifice, shedding His blood to save the Kadazan people from eternal death and hellfire. His atoning sacrifice is the means by which they are reconciled to Kinoingan Minamangun and assured of eternal life.

Through His divine authority, Kinoingan Minamangun leads His people to victory over sin, Satan, and the world. This victory is not merely a future hope but a present reality for the Kadazan believers. They hold fast to the promise found in 1 Corinthians 15:57, "But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." This assurance of victory empowers the Kadazan to live lives marked by faith, hope, and love, confident in the power and presence of their God.

Moreover, Kinoingan Minamangun's name is a strong tower of refuge and strength for His people. Proverbs 18:10 declares, "The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." The Kadazan people find security and protection in His name, trusting that He is their shield and defender against all adversities. This divine protection and guidance are essential aspects of their faith journey, as they navigate the challenges of life with unwavering trust in their sovereign God.

In essence, the name of Kinoingan Minamangun represents the fullness of divine authority, love, and protection. It is through His name that the Kadazan people are called, redeemed, and empowered to live victorious lives. His name is the foundation upon which their faith is built, a constant reminder of His presence, power, and unfailing love. As they honor and exalt His name, they are drawn into deeper communion with Him, experiencing the transformative power of His grace and truth.

Kaamatan festivals - binding and casting out demons and familiar spirits

Binding & Casting: Spiritual Practices
May 23, 2024

Dr.Jovie P.T. Chat, PhD

Talk about binding and casting, tracing its historical background and quoting the relevant scriptures verses and give real life illustrations in support.
Dr. Jovie P.T. Chai
The concepts of binding and casting have historical roots in religious and spiritual practices, particularly in Christianity. In the Bible, there are several verses that mention binding and casting out demons or evil spirits. One example is from the Gospel of Matthew, where Jesus instructs his disciples:

"And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." (Matthew 16:19, KJV)

Here, Jesus is empowering his disciples with the authority to bind and loose spiritual forces. Binding refers to the act of restricting or prohibiting something, often used in the context of restraining evil or negative influences. Casting out, on the other hand, involves expelling or driving away unwanted entities, such as demons or negative energies.

In real-life illustrations, the concept of binding and casting can be seen in various spiritual practices and rituals where individuals invoke divine authority to protect themselves or others from harm. For example, in some religious ceremonies or rituals, practitioners may recite prayers or perform specific actions to bind evil spirits or negative energies, effectively creating a barrier of protection.

Similarly, casting out may involve rituals or prayers aimed at removing evil influences or negative entities from a person or a place. This could be seen in exorcism rituals performed by trained clergy members in certain religious traditions, where the aim is to expel demons or evil spirits believed to be causing harm or possession.

Overall, the concepts of binding and casting have deep spiritual significance and can be found in various religious and cultural traditions as methods of protection and spiritual warfare against malevolent forces.

More on revelations 12:11 and Luke 10:19 20 and authority of born again believers in Christ
Dr. Jovie P.T. Chai
Revelation 12:11 speaks to the victory of believers over the forces of evil through the power of Jesus Christ:

"They triumphed over him [the devil] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death." (Revelation 12:11, NIV)

This verse emphasizes the authority and victory that believers have over Satan and his forces through the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ (symbolized by "the blood of the Lamb") and their testimonies of faith. It highlights the spiritual warfare aspect of the Christian life and the power of Christ's redemption to overcome evil.

Luke 10:19-20 is a passage where Jesus empowers his disciples with authority over demonic forces:

"I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven." (Luke 10:19-20, NIV)

Here, Jesus assures his disciples of their authority to confront and overcome the power of the enemy, symbolized by "snakes and scorpions." This authority is not based on their own strength or merit but is granted to them by Jesus himself. He also reminds them of the ultimate reason for joy: their salvation and eternal destiny.

These verses underscore the authority and power that believers in Christ possess, particularly when they are born again by the Spirit of God. Through faith in Jesus Christ, believers are not only saved from sin but also empowered to confront and overcome the spiritual forces of darkness. This authority is not based on human ability but on the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit and the victory won by Christ on the cross.

In practical terms, this authority empowers believers to resist temptation, pray for deliverance, and engage in spiritual warfare with confidence, knowing that they are standing on the victory secured by Jesus Christ. It's a reminder of the spiritual authority and responsibility that comes with being a follower of Christ.

Luke 10:19-20 is a powerful passage where Jesus confers authority upon his disciples and emphasizes the true source of their joy. Let's delve deeper into these verses:

"I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven." (Luke 10:19-20, NIV)

Authority Granted: Jesus begins by assuring his disciples that he has given them authority. This authority isn't limited to physical threats like snakes and scorpions but extends to all the power of the enemy. It's a comprehensive authority, covering spiritual battles and physical dangers. This reflects Jesus' promise of empowerment to believers, enabling them to confront and overcome the forces of evil.

Protection Promised: Jesus further assures his disciples that nothing will harm them. This promise of protection is not an exemption from trials or difficulties but a declaration of divine safeguarding amidst life's challenges. It speaks to the overarching providence of God over his people, even in the face of adversity.

True Source of Joy: Despite the incredible authority and protection granted to them, Jesus redirects his disciples' focus to the ultimate source of joy. He tells them not to rejoice merely because the spirits submit to them or because of their ability to perform miraculous acts. Instead, he instructs them to find their greatest joy in the fact that their names are written in heaven. This emphasizes the eternal significance of salvation and the relationship with God, which transcends temporal victories or accomplishments.

In practical terms, these verses remind believers of their authority and protection in Christ, empowering them to face spiritual battles with confidence. They also serve as a reminder to prioritize the eternal over the temporal and to find ultimate joy in the salvation and relationship with God.

Matthew 18 : 19 20
Dr. Jovie P.T. Chai
Matthew 18:19-20 offers insight into the power of agreement in prayer and the assurance of Christ's presence among believers:

"Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." (Matthew 18:19-20, ESV)

Power of Agreement in Prayer: Jesus emphasizes the potency of unified prayer. When two or more believers come together and agree in prayer, their requests are granted by the Father in heaven. This underscores the significance of communal prayer and the strength that comes from unity among believers. It also highlights the relational aspect of prayer, where believers come together in agreement, aligning their petitions with God's will.

Presence of Christ: Jesus assures his followers that his presence is intimately linked to their gatherings. Even in small gatherings of two or three individuals who gather in his name, Jesus promises to be present among them. This speaks to the spiritual fellowship and communion that believers experience when they come together in worship, prayer, or study of God's Word. It underscores the importance of Christian community and the assurance that Christ is with his people wherever they gather in his name.

These verses encourage believers to engage in corporate prayer, recognizing the power of agreement and the presence of Christ in their midst. They also highlight the importance of unity within the body of Christ and the assurance that God hears and answers the prayers of his people when they align with his will.

Revelation 12:11 offers a profound declaration of victory for believers over the forces of darkness through the power of Jesus Christ. Let's explore this verse in more depth:

"They triumphed over him [the devil] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death." (Revelation 12:11, NIV)

Triumph through the Blood of the Lamb: The phrase "by the blood of the Lamb" symbolizes the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross. It emphasizes that the victory of believers over the devil is made possible through the redemptive power of Jesus' shed blood. This victory is not attained through human effort or strength but through the finished work of Christ, who conquered sin and death through his sacrificial death and resurrection.

Word of Their Testimony: Believers triumph over the devil not only through the blood of the Lamb but also by the word of their testimony. This highlights the importance of personal testimonies of faith. When believers boldly proclaim their allegiance to Jesus Christ and testify to his transforming power in their lives, it serves as a powerful weapon against the lies and accusations of the enemy. Testimonies of faith not only strengthen the faith of fellow believers but also bear witness to the reality of God's saving grace to the world.

Unwavering Commitment to Christ: The verse concludes with the statement that believers "did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death." This signifies the unwavering commitment of believers to Christ, even in the face of persecution or martyrdom. It underscores the willingness of believers to sacrifice their lives for the sake of the gospel and their refusal to compromise their faith in the midst of adversity.

Overall, Revelation 12:11 is a powerful reminder of the ultimate victory that believers have in Jesus Christ. It encourages believers to stand firm in their faith, to boldly proclaim their testimony, and to remain steadfast in their commitment to Christ, knowing that through him, they have overcome the forces of darkness.

Jesus is not pleased with those who are prostituting themselves with the devil. Quote scriptures and give real life illustrations in support
Dr. Jovie P.T. Chai
The Bible contains several verses that express God's displeasure with those who engage in spiritual adultery or idolatry, which can be seen as prostituting oneself with the devil. Here are a couple of relevant scriptures:

James 4:4 (NIV): "You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God."
This verse illustrates God's disapproval of spiritual adultery, equating friendship with the world to enmity against God. It highlights the seriousness of compromising one's devotion to God by seeking after worldly desires or engaging in practices contrary to His will.

1 Corinthians 10:20-21 (NIV): "No, but the sacrifices of pagans are offered to demons, not to God, and I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons."
This passage warns against participating in pagan rituals or practices that involve offering sacrifices to demons. It emphasizes the incompatibility of serving both God and demonic forces, urging believers to remain separate from idolatrous practices.

Real-life illustrations of this concept can be found in instances where individuals or communities compromise their faith for worldly gain or engage in occult practices. For example:

Cult Involvement: People who become entangled in cults often find themselves spiritually enslaved, sacrificing their beliefs and values for the promises of power or enlightenment offered by cult leaders. This can be seen as prostituting oneself with the devil, as individuals place their trust and devotion in false ideologies or leaders who lead them away from God.

Occult Practices: Individuals who dabble in occult practices such as witchcraft, divination, or Satanism may believe they are gaining special powers or insights, but in reality, they are opening themselves up to spiritual deception and bondage. Such practices involve seeking guidance or power from sources other than God, leading individuals away from His truth and into spiritual darkness.

In these real-life examples, we see the consequences of spiritual adultery and idolatry, where individuals compromise their relationship with God for temporary pleasures or false promises. The scriptures serve as warnings against such behavior, urging believers to remain faithful and devoted to God alone.

Unredeemed Bobohizans aka bobolians are priestess esv to the devil, having demons as "divato" (guiding spirits), necromancer, offering blood sacrifices to and dealing or trading in familiar spirits. List down the relevant bible verses that they contravened and true believers in Christ should be aware of and or repent from. Give real life illustrations in support.
Dr. Jovie P.T. Chai
The practices you mentioned align with occultism and idolatry, which are explicitly condemned in the Bible. Here are relevant Bible verses along with explanations and real-life illustrations:

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (NIV): "Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord..."

This passage lists various occult practices, including divination, sorcery, witchcraft, and necromancy, and declares them detestable to the Lord. Unredeemed Bobohizans engaging in these practices are violating God's commands and placing themselves under His judgment.

Real-life illustration: In some cultures, there are individuals who claim to communicate with the dead or offer divination services. They may exploit people's vulnerabilities by claiming to provide supernatural insights or contact with deceased loved ones. These practices are contrary to biblical teachings and can lead people away from God's truth.

Leviticus 20:6 (NIV): "I will set my face against anyone who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute themselves by following them, and I will cut them off from their people."

This verse emphasizes God's strong disapproval of seeking guidance from mediums or spiritists, likening it to spiritual prostitution. Those who engage in such practices face severe consequences, including being cut off from God's people.

Real-life illustration: People may turn to mediums or spiritists in times of distress, seeking guidance or reassurance from supernatural sources. However, these individuals often exploit vulnerable individuals for financial gain or personal power. Such interactions lead people away from God's truth and into spiritual bondage.

Galatians 5:19-21 (NIV): "The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."

This passage lists witchcraft among the works of the flesh, warning that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. It underscores the seriousness of engaging in occult practices and idolatry.

Real-life illustration: Individuals who involve themselves in occult practices often experience spiritual and emotional turmoil. They may become ensnared by demonic influences, leading to destructive behaviors and relationships. Ultimately, their pursuit of power or enlightenment through occult means leads them further away from God's kingdom.

These verses serve as warnings to believers, urging them to avoid involvement in occult practices and to remain faithful to God alone. Instead of seeking guidance from the spiritual realm apart from God, believers are encouraged to trust in His wisdom and guidance as revealed in His Word.

Define what are familiar spirits and what damages can they cause to those imparted or blessed by the unredeemed Bobohizans aka bobolians especially the spirit of poverty, fertility spirits like inana aka Ishtar, asthoret, bambaazon, Asmodeus
Dr. Jovie P.T. Chai
Familiar spirits are believed to be demonic entities or spirits that are summoned or consulted by individuals involved in occult practices, such as witchcraft, sorcery, or spiritism. These spirits are thought to be familiar with the lives and histories of people and can provide information or assistance to those who invoke them. However, it's essential to clarify that familiar spirits are not benevolent guides but deceptive entities masquerading as helpful beings.

Damage caused by familiar spirits, especially when imparted or blessed by unredeemed Bobohizans, can manifest in various ways:

Spiritual Bondage: Familiar spirits can ensnare individuals in spiritual bondage, leading them away from God and into deeper involvement in occult practices. Those who seek guidance or assistance from familiar spirits may become increasingly dependent on them, ultimately leading to spiritual deception and alienation from God.

Emotional and Psychological Harm: Interaction with familiar spirits can result in emotional and psychological harm. Individuals may experience fear, confusion, and anxiety as they become entangled in occult practices and the influence of demonic entities. The deceptive nature of familiar spirits can lead to feelings of spiritual emptiness and despair.

Curses and Oppression: Familiar spirits may also bring curses or oppression upon individuals who consult them. Unredeemed Bobohizans may impart or bless individuals with spiritual influences that bring about negative consequences, such as financial difficulties (spirit of poverty), infertility or reproductive issues (fertility spirits), and other forms of spiritual and physical affliction.

Deception and False Hope: Familiar spirits deceive individuals by offering false promises of power, prosperity, or fulfillment. Those who are misled by these deceptive entities may find themselves trapped in a cycle of spiritual deception, chasing after empty promises and forsaking the truth of God's Word.

Demonic Influence and Possession: Continued involvement with familiar spirits can open individuals up to demonic influence and even demonic possession. The spiritual boundaries between the individual and the demonic realm become increasingly blurred, leading to profound spiritual and psychological distress.

It's crucial for believers to recognize the dangers of engaging with familiar spirits and to seek spiritual protection through prayer, reliance on God's Word, and the power of the Holy Spirit. By remaining steadfast in their faith and avoiding occult practices, believers can guard themselves against the deceptive schemes of familiar spirits and the harm they can inflict.

More on getting drunk or addicted to alcohol, syabu or mind altering herbs
Dr. Jovie P.T. Chai
Getting drunk or addicted to alcohol, drugs like syabu (methamphetamine), or mind-altering herbs is a serious issue with significant physical, emotional, and spiritual consequences. Here's more on the topic:

Physical Health Effects: Alcohol and drug abuse can lead to a range of physical health problems, including liver damage, heart disease, neurological disorders, and increased risk of accidents and injuries. Substance abuse can also weaken the immune system, making individuals more susceptible to infections and diseases.

Mental and Emotional Impact: Substance abuse often co-occurs with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and psychosis. Drugs and alcohol can temporarily alleviate symptoms but worsen mental health in the long run, leading to a vicious cycle of dependency and worsening mental health.

Social and Relationship Consequences: Addiction to alcohol or drugs can strain relationships with family, friends, and colleagues. It can lead to isolation, withdrawal from social activities, and conflicts with loved ones. Substance abuse can also impact one's ability to fulfill responsibilities at work, school, or home, leading to financial instability and legal problems.

Spiritual Disconnection: Addiction can result in a sense of spiritual disconnection, as individuals prioritize substance use over spiritual growth and connection with God. Substance abuse often leads to moral and ethical compromises, distancing individuals from their values and beliefs.

To address alcohol or drug addiction from a biblical perspective, here are some key principles:

Acknowledge the Problem: Recognize and acknowledge the presence of addiction and its negative impact on your life and the lives of others. (James 5:16)

Seek Help and Support: Reach out to trusted friends, family members, or professionals for support and guidance in overcoming addiction. (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10)

Repentance and Confession: Confess your struggles with addiction to God and seek forgiveness for past mistakes. (1 John 1:9)

Renew Your Mind: Replace negative thought patterns and behaviors with God's truth and wisdom found in Scripture. (Romans 12:2)

Practice Self-Control: Exercise self-control and discipline in managing cravings and temptations related to alcohol or drugs. (Galatians 5:22-23)

Flee Temptation: Avoid environments and situations that may trigger cravings or temptations to use alcohol or drugs. (1 Corinthians 6:18)

Find Accountability: Surround yourself with a supportive community of believers who can hold you accountable and provide encouragement and prayer. (Hebrews 10:24-25)

Submit to God's Will: Surrender your life and struggles with addiction to God, trusting in His strength and guidance to overcome. (Philippians 4:13)

Real-life illustrations:

Recovery Testimonies: Many individuals have found freedom from addiction through faith-based recovery programs or support groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Celebrate Recovery. Their testimonies highlight the transformative power of faith and community in overcoming addiction.

Pastoral Counseling: Pastors and Christian counselors provide spiritual and emotional support to individuals struggling with addiction, offering guidance rooted in biblical principles and prayer.

Church-based Support Groups: Some churches offer support groups or ministries specifically designed to address addiction and provide a safe space for individuals to share their struggles and find encouragement and support from fellow believers.

By integrating biblical principles with practical strategies and seeking support from a faith community, individuals can overcome addiction and experience healing and restoration in their lives.

Maintaining holiness and sexual purity is a fundamental aspect of Christian faith and living. Here's more on the importance of sexual purity and ways to uphold it:

Renewing the Mind: Sexual purity begins with the renewal of the mind. Fill your mind with things that are pure, noble, and praiseworthy, rather than dwelling on lustful thoughts or images. (Romans 12:2)

Guarding Your Heart: Guard your heart against impure desires and temptations by setting boundaries and avoiding situations that may lead to sexual compromise. (Proverbs 4:23)

Fleeing Temptation: When faced with temptation, flee from it rather than entertaining it. Avoid situations or environments that may expose you to temptation, and seek accountability and support from fellow believers. (1 Corinthians 6:18; 2 Timothy 2:22)

Resisting Sin: Resist the lies and temptations of the enemy by standing firm on the truth of God's Word. Take captive every thought and submit it to Christ. (James 4:7; 2 Corinthians 10:5)

Avoiding sugary beverages, fried foods, and processed snacks and opting for nutritious, whole foods supports weight management and overall health. (Proverbs 23:20-21)

Real-life illustration: Making mindful food choices, practicing portion control, and seeking support from healthcare professionals or nutritionists can help individuals avoid obesity and reduce their intake of junk food. Creating a supportive environment at home and in the workplace that encourages healthy eating habits also facilitates success in maintaining a nutritious diet.

By prioritizing exercise, spiritual, soulical, and physical nutrition, and avoiding obesity and junk food, individuals can experience holistic health and well-being in body, soul, and spirit.

Draft a prayer of repentance and renunciation from past involvement in corrupt practices and ritualistic blood sacrifices, necromancy, witchcraft, sorceries, occultism and worship of false or counterfeit gods, consultation with unredeemed Bobohizans aka bobolians, toaist, budhist, imams, false teachers and Luciferian priests: prayer for cutting off of soul ties, rededication to and empowerment by the Holy Spirit. Quote scriptures to decree, declare and claim.
Dr. Jovie P.T. Chai
Heavenly Father,

I come before you in humility and brokenness, acknowledging my past involvement in corrupt practices and the worship of false gods. I repent of my participation in ritualistic blood sacrifices, necromancy, witchcraft, sorceries, occultism, and any form of idolatry that has separated me from You. I renounce every tie and allegiance to unredeemed Bobohizans, false teachers, and practitioners of false religions.

Your Word declares in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" I decree and declare that I am cutting off every soul tie and spiritual attachment to darkness and ungodliness. I renounce all forms of spiritual bondage and declare my freedom in Christ Jesus.

I rededicate my life to You, Lord, and I surrender myself fully to Your will and purpose. Fill me afresh with Your Holy Spirit, empowering me to live a life that honors and glorifies You in all things. Your Word assures me in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." I claim Your promise of forgiveness and purification, knowing that You are faithful to Your Word.

I declare that I am a new creation in Christ, as it says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" I am no longer bound by my past sins and associations, but I am redeemed and set free by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Empower me, Holy Spirit, to walk in righteousness and holiness, to resist the schemes of the enemy, and to live a life that brings glory to Your name. Help me to discern truth from deception and to abide in Your Word daily.

Thank you, Lord, for your mercy and grace. May my life be a testimony to Your saving power and love, as I walk in obedience to Your will. In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

Spiritual warfare in Sabah - the power of the Holy Spirit and Word of Yah

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a fiery glow across the sky, the residents of Sabah retreated to the safety of their homes, unaware of the darkness that lurked in the shadows.

In the bustling city center, **Benjamin Tan** navigated through a maze of towering skyscrapers, his mind consumed by thoughts of the past. As the CEO of a prominent corporation, he had spent years climbing the corporate ladder, driven by ambition and a thirst for success. But with success came temptation, and Benjamin had made deals with unsavory characters, trading his integrity for profit. Now, as whispers of corruption swirled around him, he found himself questioning the choices he had made.

One evening, as Benjamin sat alone in his office, poring over financial reports, he received a mysterious package. Inside was a ancient-looking scroll, inscribed with strange symbols and cryptic messages. As he studied the scroll, a sense of foreboding washed over him, and he remembered the words of Ephesians 6:12: "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places." Suddenly, Benjamin realized that he was not fighting a battle of numbers and profits, but a battle of spiritual forces beyond his comprehension.

Meanwhile, at the local university, **Dr. Sarah Wong** found herself embroiled in a different kind of struggle. As a lecturer in anthropology, she had dedicated her life to studying the rich cultural heritage of Sabah's indigenous peoples. But her research had brought her into conflict with powerful interests who sought to exploit the land for profit. Despite facing threats and intimidation, Sarah refused to back down, drawing strength from her faith and the promise of James 4:7: "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." With each lecture she delivered, Sarah challenged the status quo, knowing that the truth was worth fighting for.

Meanwhile, in the rural outskirts of Sabah, **Thomas Lim** tended to his crops with care, unaware of the darkness that threatened to engulf his land. For generations, his family had worked the land, honoring the traditions passed down from their ancestors. But as modernization encroached upon their way of life, Thomas sensed a malevolent presence lurking in the shadows. One night, as he performed his nightly prayers, he heard strange noises emanating from the surrounding forest. With a sense of dread, he remembered the words of 2 Corinthians 10:4-5: "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds..." Determined to protect his land, Thomas embarked on a journey to uncover the truth behind the mysterious rituals that threatened to destroy everything he held dear.

In another corner of Sabah, **Elena Ng** struggled to make sense of her husband's sudden involvement in corrupt dealings. As a devoted wife and mother, she had always believed in the sanctity of family and the power of love. But as she uncovered evidence of her husband's betrayal, her world came crashing down around her. Alone in her kitchen, she turned to her Bible for solace, finding comfort in Psalm 91:4: "He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler." With each passing day, Elena grappled with the decision to confront her husband or protect her family from the truth.

As darkness descended upon Sabah, these five individuals found themselves united by a common purpose: to confront the forces of evil that threatened to destroy their beloved land. Together, they embarked on a journey that would test their faith, their courage, and their determination to overcome the darkness that threatened to consume them. And though the road ahead was fraught with danger, they took comfort in the promise of Scripture, knowing that no weapon formed against them would prosper.

Mary of the Roman Catholics Church is not the Mary of the Bible

Mary also needed the blood of the Lamb of Yah

The Catholic Priest Is Taught That He Can Command Jesus From Heaven And On To The Sacrificial Alter But, there is more horror to this story of the Eucharist, whose principle doctrine is Transubstantiation! This doctrine is actual witchcraft, as even discerning Catholic priests will admit! When Roman Catholic doctrine states that Jesus Christ must obey the priest and come down from Heaven to go on the altar, this doctrine is identical to Witchcraft! Once again, we have conclusive proof, within Roman Catholic doctrine, that Roman Catholicism is identical -- repeat, identical -- with Witchcraft.

Standing Firm: Faithfulness, Obedience, and the Great Commission in the Face of Persecution

Introduction:

The call to follow Christ is not always an easy one. As believers, we are called to stand firm in our faith, even in the face of persecution. The Great Commission, which calls us to spread the Gospel to all nations, comes with the reality that we may face opposition and even martyrdom. In this ebook, we will explore the importance of remaining faithful and obedient to God's calling, even when faced with suffering and persecution.

Anchored in Scripture:

The foundation of our faith lies in the unchanging word of God. Throughout the Bible, we see examples of faithful men and women who endured trials and tribulations for their faith. From Abel to the early Church to modern-day martyrs, their stories remind us of the promise in Romans 8:35-39 that nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. Jesus himself warned us of persecution but also promised that those who acknowledge Him will be acknowledged in heaven.

Real-Life Illustrations:

Throughout history, countless believers have shown unwavering faith in the face of persecution. From the early Church to William Tyndale to modern-day Christians in persecuted countries, their stories inspire us to stand firm in our faith. Their courage and conviction serve as a powerful witness to the world.

Finding Strength in Suffering:

While persecution is never easy, it can refine our faith and deepen our dependence on God. As Philippians 1:29 reminds us, suffering for Christ is a privilege granted to us. Enduring suffering with faith and obedience can be a powerful testimony to others, drawing them to the love and truth of Christ.

Preparing for the Challenge:

As we face potential challenges, we must actively prepare ourselves. This includes deepening our knowledge of scripture, building a strong community of faith, and living a life of integrity and love. By grounding ourselves in God's word, surrounding ourselves with fellow believers, and living out our faith in our actions, we can be better equipped to face persecution.

Remember, the ultimate victory belongs to Christ:

While persecution may be daunting, we must remember that the ultimate victory belongs to Christ. Revelation 2:10 reminds us that those who are faithful, even unto death, will receive the crown of life. Our temporary suffering is nothing compared to the eternal reward that awaits us.

Conclusion:

As we embark on this challenging yet rewarding journey of faithfulness and obedience, may we be guided by the Holy Spirit and strengthened by God's presence. Let us go forth with boldness and love, prepared to face any obstacle, knowing that God is with us always. May we stand firm in our faith, even in the face of persecution, knowing that our ultimate victory is in Christ.

RM1.5 trillion owing to Sabahans under MA63. 😭 to be used to buy Sabahans MPs and ADUNs to be "stooges" under Malaysia Madani aka Malaysia under political Islam

Pagi & Kabar Baik
May 17, 2024
RIB
Okay, do you know where Sabah is? Sabah, which was supposed to be an independent state within the new Malaysia, but in fact it is not independent. It has become a slave country to the Malayan state.

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
Yes, Sabah is a state located on the northern part of the island of Borneo. It's part of Malaysia, but it has its own unique history and culture. Would you like to know more about Sabah's history and its relationship with Malaysia?
RIB
How many empty seats are allocated to SABAH?
Dr. G.P.T. Chat

In Malaysia's Parliament, Sabah is allocated a total of 25 seats. These seats represent the state's interests and are filled through elections.
RIB
How many percent does that represent the whole of Malaysia?
Dr. G.P.T. Chat

To calculate the percentage of seats that Sabah holds in Malaysia's Parliament, we can divide the number of seats allocated to Sabah (25) by the total number of seats in the Malaysian Parliament (222), then multiply by 100.
So, (25 / 222) * 100 ≈ 11.26%.
Sabah's seats represent approximately 11.26% of the total seats in the Malaysian Parliament.
RIB
How about Sarawak?

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
Sarawak, another state in Malaysia, is allocated a total of 31 seats in the Malaysian Parliament. To find out the percentage of seats it represents, we'll follow the same process: divide the number of seats allocated to Sarawak (31) by the total number of seats in the Malaysian Parliament (222), then multiply by 100.
So, (31 / 222) * 100 ≈ 13.96%.
Sarawak's seats represent approximately 13.96% of the total seats in the Malaysian Parliament.
RIB
Sarawak and Sabah together, how many percent do they control the Malaysian parliamentary seats?

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
To find out the combined percentage of seats controlled by Sarawak and Sabah in the Malaysian Parliament, we add up the number of seats allocated to both states (31 for Sarawak and 25 for Sabah), then divide by the total number of seats in the Parliament (222), and multiply by 100.
So, ((31 + 25) / 222) * 100 ≈ 26.13%.
Together, Sarawak and Sabah control approximately 26.13% of the total seats in the Malaysian Parliament.
RIB
What is the number of seats in Adun Sabah?

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
The number of seats in the Sabah State Legislative Assembly, also known as Adun Sabah, is 73. These seats represent different constituencies within the state of Sabah.
RIB
Know what I mean by MP is the Member of Parliament, not MP.

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
Got it! In that case, the number of "MPs" (Members of Parliament) for Sabah refers to the number of elected representatives from Sabah who sit in the Malaysian Parliament. Sabah is allocated 25 seats in the Malaysian Parliament. So, the number of "MPs" from Sabah is 25.
RIB
25 plus 73 equals...

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
25 (MPs) + 73 (seats in Adun Sabah) equals 98.
RIB
No, I mean 1.5 trillion, how many billions is it?

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
Apologies for the confusion. 1.5 trillion is equivalent to 1,500 billion.
RIB
How about $98 billion over $1,500 billion? What is the percentage?

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
To find the percentage, we divide $98 billion by $1,500 billion, then multiply by 100 to get the percentage.
So, ($98 billion / $1,500 billion) * 100 ≈ 6.53%.
Therefore, $98 billion is approximately 6.53% of $1,500 billion.
RIB
How many percent is that? 98 over 1,500.

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
To calculate the percentage, we divide 98 by 1500, then multiply by 100.
(98 / 1500) * 100 ≈ 6.53%
So, 98 over 1500 is approximately 6.53%.
RIB
okay thank you now can you talk about cash is king what i mean to say is that the federal Ketuanan Melayu (KM) are buying / bribing sabahans MPs and ADUNs to be their “stooges”.

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
"Cash is king" is a saying that suggests the importance of cash or money in various aspects of life, including politics. In the context you mentioned, it implies that money plays a significant role in influencing politicians or individuals to act in certain ways, such as supporting specific political agendas or candidates. When federal entities provide financial incentives or benefits to Sabahans who become YBs (Yang Berhormat, meaning "Honorable"), it can raise concerns about potential undue influence or corruption in the political process.
RIB
The federal government under MA63 owes the Sabahans 1.5 trillion ringgit, but instead of settling it fully and pay it to Sabahans, the “crooks” inside, which we call the Ketuanan Malayu, is using that money to buy Sabahan YBs. If they give all of them RM1 billion each, that is only RM 98 billions, that's only 6% of the total amount they owe to Sabahans. Discuss.

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
It sounds like you're highlighting a complex issue regarding the distribution of funds owed to Sabah under the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) and how they are being allocated. If the federal government owes Sabah 1.5 trillion ringgit as part of its obligations under MA63, but instead, a portion of these funds is being used for other purposes, such as influencing Sabahan politicians, it raises questions about fairness, transparency, and accountability in governance.
Allocating only 6% of the owed amount to Sabahan YBs, while significant in absolute terms, may not adequately address the broader socioeconomic needs and development priorities of Sabah as stipulated under MA63. This situation could perpetuate disparities and hinder the overall progress and well-being of the Sabahan people.
Additionally, the use of funds for political purposes, such as buying support or influence, can undermine democratic principles and erode public trust in the government. It's essential for any government to prioritize the equitable distribution and effective utilization of resources to fulfill its obligations and serve the best interests of all its constituents.
RIB
To put it bluntly, the $1.5 trillion, which is $1,500 billion, is being used to buy Sabahans who had been elected YB to be under the total control of the federal government.

Dr. G.P.T. Chat

So, just to be clear, you're saying that the $1.5 trillion owed to Sabah is being used to exert control over Sabahan politicians who have been elected as YBs by the federal government. This raises serious concerns about the misuse of funds and potential manipulation of democratic processes for political gain.
RIB
By using such strategy, the 25 MPs, or Members of Parliament, and the 73 Adun, or Dewan Undangan Negeri, will be 100% voting for whoever is in the federal government, say UNU or PAS or even PH.

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
If the federal government is using funds to exert control over Sabahan politicians, it could indeed influence their voting behavior in Parliament and the State Legislative Assembly. This situation could lead to a scenario where the 25 MPs and 73 Adun from Sabah consistently vote in alignment with the federal government's interests, regardless of their original affiliations or the best interests of Sabahans. Such a scenario may undermine the autonomy and representativeness of Sabah's elected officials and raise concerns about the integrity of the democratic process.
RIB
This is what we mean by cash is king.
Dr. G.P.T. Chat
Dr. G.P.T. Chat
Indeed, the phrase "cash is king" encapsulates the idea that money holds significant influence and power, especially in politics, where financial resources can be used to sway decisions, secure support, and maintain control. When funds are wielded in this manner, it can compromise the independence and integrity of elected representatives and the democratic process as a whole.
RIB
Not only that, but the 98 MPs and 100 ADUNs, if they all secretly accept the cash “bribe or inducement” will be 100% corrupted and loaded with “Fiat money”.

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
When politicians are influenced or corrupted by financial incentives, it undermines their ability to serve the interests of their constituents effectively and ethically. Corruption erodes public trust in the political system and can have detrimental effects on governance, economic development, and social cohesion. It's essential for robust anti-corruption measures to be in place to safeguard the integrity of elected officials and uphold the principles of accountability and transparency in governance.
RIB
This is the strategy employed by Malaysia Madani, which is another term for Malaysia under political Islam. They use cash for buying MPs and ADUNs (to advance political Islam) which in accordance with the teaching of the Koran, it's okay.
Dr. G.P.T. Chat
Dr. G.P.T. Chat
The use of cash and financial resources for political purposes, especially under the guise of religious or ideological motivations, raises significant ethical and legal concerns. While it's important to respect religious teachings and beliefs, using cash to influence political outcomes can still undermine democratic principles and foster corruption, regardless of the stated intentions.
It's crucial for any government to operate within the bounds of the law, uphold ethical standards, and prioritize the welfare and rights of all its citizens, regardless of their religious or ideological affiliations. Transparency, accountability, and fair governance are essential pillars of a functioning democracy, and they must be upheld to ensure the well-being and prosperity of society as a whole.
RIB
Okay, so much for good philosophy, but what happens if the religion teaches such, just like Muhammad, rob a caravan and get 20% commission from the robberies? Is the same being applied in the case of Malaysia or Malaya over Sabah? Everybody has been corrupted, the ministers, the judge, the police, the commission of inquiries, the anti-corruption, and almost everybody, and on top of that, they are using the corrupted cash into money laundering, and they are flooding the market, causing inflation, and causing a lot of demonic and lazy people.

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
When religious teachings or interpretations are used to justify unethical or criminal behavior, it's a distortion of those teachings and goes against the principles of justice, compassion, and integrity that many religions espouse. In the context of governance and politics, corruption, money laundering, and other criminal activities undermine the rule of law, erode public trust, and harm society's well-being.
Addressing corruption and its associated problems requires a comprehensive approach that involves robust enforcement of laws, strengthening of institutions, promotion of transparency and accountability, and fostering a culture of ethical leadership and civic responsibility. It's essential for governments, religious institutions, civil society, and individuals to work together to combat corruption and uphold the values of honesty, justice, and respect for human dignity.
If corruption and criminal activities are left unchecked, they can have devastating consequences for society, including economic instability, social unrest, and erosion of democratic institutions. Therefore, it's crucial for concerted efforts to be made at all levels to tackle these issues effectively and ensure that justice is upheld for all members of society.
RIB
Did you get what I have said in record?

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
Yes, I understood your concerns about corruption, the misuse of religious teachings, and the various negative impacts on society, including economic instability and erosion of trust in institutions. It's important to address these issues seriously and take steps to combat corruption and uphold ethical standards in governance.
RIB
Can you suggest 24 ways and strategy that the taxpayer and the voters, the ordinary citizens, especially those who are marginalized by this system, we call it totalitarian system, we only govern using democratic process, but everything is corrupted as what Dr. Bill Warner says in his book called Sharjah Law for Non-Muslims.

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
Certainly, here are 24 potential strategies for ordinary citizens to address corruption and challenge a system that they perceive as totalitarian:

Whistleblowing: Courageously report instances of corruption or wrongdoing to relevant authorities or media outlets.
Transparency Advocacy: Advocate for transparency and accountability measures within government institutions, such as public disclosure of finances and decision-making processes.
Voter Education: Educate fellow citizens about their voting rights, the importance of informed voting, and how to hold elected officials accountable.
Public Pressure Campaigns: Launch public pressure campaigns, such as boycotts or petitions, to demand reforms and accountability from government officials.
Civil Disobedience: Engage in nonviolent civil disobedience to peacefully resist unjust laws or policies and raise awareness about systemic issues.
Support Independent Media: Support independent journalists and media outlets that investigate and report on corruption and abuse of power.
Political Engagement: Participate actively in political processes, including elections, to support candidates who prioritize integrity and accountability.
Whistleblower Protection: Advocate for stronger laws and protections for whistleblowers who expose corruption and wrongdoing.
Civil Society Oversight: Strengthen civil society organizations and watchdog groups to monitor government activities and advocate for transparency and accountability.
Strengthening Institutions: Advocate for reforms to strengthen independent oversight institutions, such as anti-corruption agencies and ombudsman offices.
Community Empowerment: Empower marginalized communities through education, skills development, and economic opportunities to reduce vulnerability to corruption.
International Pressure: Mobilize international support and advocacy to pressure governments to address corruption and uphold human rights standards.
Promote Ethical Leadership: Support and promote ethical leaders who demonstrate integrity, transparency, and a commitment to serving the public good.
Corporate Accountability: Hold corporations accountable for unethical business practices and demand transparency in corporate governance.
Campaign Finance Reform: Advocate for reforms to regulate campaign financing and reduce the influence of money in politics.
Public Awareness Campaigns: Launch public awareness campaigns to educate citizens about the impacts of corruption and the importance of collective action.

Civic Education: Promote civic education programs to empower citizens with knowledge and skills to actively participate in democratic processes and hold the government accountable.
Cultural Shift: Work towards a cultural shift that values honesty, integrity, and ethical behavior in all aspects of society.

These strategies may vary in effectiveness depending on the specific context and challenges faced, but collectively, they can contribute to building a more accountable, transparent, and just society.
RIB
Could you please expand on the international pressure? Can we bring it to ICJs, International CriminalCourt (ICC)?

Dr. G.P.T. Chat
Certainly! International pressure involves mobilizing support and advocacy efforts at the international level to address issues of corruption, human rights abuses, and governance failures in a particular country. Here's how this can be expanded:
International Organizations: Engage with international organizations such as the United Nations, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and regional bodies like the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to raise awareness about corruption and governance issues in your country. These organizations may offer technical assistance, capacity-building support, and advocacy platforms to address such issues.
Multilateral Treaties and Conventions: Advocate for your country to ratify and implement international treaties and conventions related to anti-corruption, human rights, and good governance. For example, the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) provides a framework for international cooperation in combating corruption and recovering stolen assets.
Diplomatic Channels: Work with diplomats and foreign missions to your country to highlight concerns about corruption and governance failures. Diplomatic pressure, including statements, demarches, and diplomatic meetings, can signal international concern and encourage the government to take action.
International Financial Institutions: Engage with international financial institutions such as the World Bank and the IMF, which provide financial assistance and policy advice to countries. These institutions may condition their support on governance reforms, transparency measures, and anti-corruption efforts.
Civil Society Networks: Collaborate with international civil society networks and advocacy groups that focus on corruption, transparency, and accountability. These networks can amplify your voice, provide solidarity and support, and advocate for your cause on the global stage.
Regional Bodies and Courts: Explore opportunities to bring cases of corruption and governance failures before regional bodies and courts, such as the African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights, the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, or the European Court of Human Rights. These institutions may have mechanisms for addressing human rights violations and ensuring accountability.
International Criminal Court (ICC): In cases where corruption involves serious human rights violations or crimes against humanity, consider advocating for investigations and prosecutions by the ICC. The ICC has jurisdiction over the most serious international crimes and may investigate and prosecute individuals responsible for such crimes.
Global Advocacy Campaigns: Join or support global advocacy campaigns and initiatives focused on combating corruption, promoting transparency, and advancing good governance. These campaigns leverage international attention, media coverage, and public pressure to push for reforms and hold governments accountable.
By leveraging international pressure through these channels, you can raise awareness, build alliances, and exert external pressure on your government to address corruption and governance failures effectively. However, it's essential to tailor your strategies to the specific context and dynamics of your country and engage in sustained advocacy efforts to achieve lasting change.
